My Sweet Spot
I'm Lisa Lai, a business advisor, coach, author and speaker who runs my own consulting practice. I help companies and individuals achieve success when they have big, new, or important opportunities in the business world. Most of my clients have significant goals to achieve, and more than a few challenges to address.
Clients come to me for a fresh perspective - to ensure they're doing the right things, in the right ways, to achieve the best possible results.
We partner to validate strategies, develop implementation plans, address challenges, and mitigate weaknesses. We focus on leadership, communication, and alignment. Our goal is always to accelerate progress and achieve real and lasting results.
My Background
I started my career thirty five years ago as a market analyst. Since then, I've consulted with some of the world's most respected companies. I've held executive positions in two Fortune 500 companies. I've had the pleasure of leading multiple start-ups, one of which enjoyed a multi-billion dollar public offering. My consulting practice is designed specifically to leverage the diversity of my experience in the business world.
As part of my consulting practice, I also work with Harvard Business School, facilitating corporate leadership development programs for their Fortune-ranked clients in the US and global markets. Our programs help business leaders further develop competencies in the areas of innovation, strategy, and execution. I’ve had the opportunity to work with over 15,000 leaders in several of the most prestigious companies in the world, helping them maximize their impact and influence.
In addition to my direct work with clients, I serve as an author and speaker on the global stage. I’ve been named by Inc. Magazine as one of the Top 100 Leadership Speakers in the country. I served as a subject matter expert for Harvard Business Review Manager’s Handbook: The 17 Skills Leaders Need to Stand Out, which was recognized as Management Book of the Year by the prestigious Chartered Management Institute in London. I also contributed two chapters as an expert to HBR’s Guide to Thinking Strategically.
I’ve published multiple articles with Harvard Business Review and publish my own blog entitled “How to Succeed in Business… Without Eating Your Soul for Breakfast”, read in over 100 countries around the world.
